K-E-Y. 2) Letters I-R; items found around the house. Section A 1a This activity gives students an introduction to asking about things around them. 1) Draw attention to the picture. Explain that students are about to hear some children asking each other about household items in English. 2) Play the recording the first time. Students only listen. 3) Play the recording a second time. This time, students repeat the conversations. Tapescript A: What’s this in English? B: It’s an orange. B: What’s this in English? A: It’s a map. 1b This activity gives further practice in all the letters students have learned so far. 1) Ask students to look at the picture.
