The Research of Liang Chenyus Sanqu Abstract Liang Chenyu,who was famous with opera ‘Huan Sha Ji’ in the middle period of Ming dynasty. As a well-known dramatist, Liang Chenyu made brilliant achievements not only in the opera, but also in Sanqu.He was the author of the Sanqu set of Jiangdong Baizhu.this thesis will study on the set of Jiangdong Baizhu,and research its characteristics from different angles. The first chapter mainly studies the content of Liang Chenyu’s Sanqu. Through the analysis of Sanqu contents, which may be divided into four parts. There are giving prostitutes , recording the travel，praising things and modifying the works of others. In the process of research, will choose some representative works and have a comparative study.there are two ways,the longitudinal comparison and lateral comparison. The second chapter mainly studies the artistic characteristics of Liang Chenyu ’ s Sanqu.In three aspects, respectively is the use of imageries, rhetoric features and characteristics of prefaces. The third chapter mainly research the metrical system of Liang Chenyu ’ s Sanqu.Through the use of rhyme,the sentence forms and the Qupai’s combination of the works, analysis of the characteristics of Liang Chenyu’s Sanqu. The fourth chapter mainly studies Liang Chenyu’s Sanqu in different anthologies of traditional opera in the recorded, and accords to the editor Wang Qiugui opera periodicals of good edition .
