Along with economic and military power etc., it has become a grand force in simulating the economic and social development. For China, whose cultural soft power is still in development, must take further steps in seeking a way to improve her cultural soft power so as to realize the function of culture to lead the fashion, educate the people, serve the society as well as enhance the development of the society. We need to start a new page in socialism culture construction and improve our cultural soft power so as to better serve the economic and social development of our country. Over recent years, there have been a growing number of research on improving the cultural soft power, in which the scholars illustrated the great importance of enhancing the cultural soft power from various aspects and gave further explanation on the ways and methods to be carried out. However, such research are still on a starting stage, which may lack profound thinking and analysis. This writer, by utilizing questionnaire survey, analytical and narrative methods, proceeding from the current situation of China’s cultural soft power, explained the meaning and problems of it, as long as illustrated the reason of this situation. Thus, this writer revealed the significance of improving China’s cultural soft power, made few suggestions on improving it as well as made a discussion on the specific method of imroving China’s cultural soft power under the social background of constructing a socialist harmonious society.
