I I 摘 要 摘 要 中产阶级的兴起与市场经济、商品社会的发展不可分割，一定程度上，社会经济的 发展最终推动了中产阶级的成熟与壮大。中产阶级是改革开放后中国经济、政治、社会 转型的产物，中产阶级不但推动了市场经济的发展、民主政治的进步，同时也是先进科 学技术与文化的代表者。亚里士多德、托克维尔、马克思等人关于中产阶级、民主政治 的定义以及二者关系的理论研究有助于我们更好的分析中产阶级与民主政治之间的微 妙关系。从民主政治理论、精英民主理论、政治民主化途径理论的视角分析中产阶级对 政治民主化的促进作用，从高等教育制度革新、社会公正、公平分配制度的完善可以看 到政治民主化为中产阶级发展提供的体制保障。中国中产阶级的特殊性及其政治诉求和 政治民主进程的发展要求使得构建中产阶级与政治民主化的良性发展成为可能。 现阶段中国中产阶级发展起步较晚，规模相对较小，中产阶级研究理论相对单薄， 重点探讨中国中产阶级的界定范畴及其对中国政治民主化的影响十分必要。研究在理论 上清晰了中国中产阶级的背景、规模、界定标准、特殊性和政治民主化进程的基本理论、 发展脉络；在实践上提出扩大中产阶级的规模的政策参考，以正确的引导，实现中产阶 级对政治民主化更多的积极影响，消减降低潜在的消极影响。进入 21 世纪以来，经济 全球化、政治民主化、中产阶级发展呈现了自西向东几乎同步的发展趋势。中产阶级与 政治民主化的关系越来越紧密，如何扩大中产阶级比重，实现“金字塔型”向中间大， 两头小的“橄榄型”社会结构的成功转变，对于促进中国政治民主化进程的不断推进有 着重要意义。 关键词 中产阶级 民主政治 政治民主化 影响 II II Abstract Abstract The rise of the middle class is an inalienable part of the market economy and development of commodity society. To a certain extent, the social and economic development was finally promoted the maturation and growth of the middle class. The middle class is a product of Chinas economic, political and social transformation after the reform and opening up. Middle class has not only promoted the development of the market economy, democracy and progress, but is also the representative of the advanced science technology and the culture. The paper’s main meaning is about the middle class and its impact on the political democratization, we elaborates the basic theory of concepts, such as the middle class, political democratization; we summarize and analysis the studies of Aristotle, Tocqueville, Marx and others whose study is base on the definition of middle class, political democracy and the relationship between the two profiles. To analyze social background and define the characteristics of the Chinese middle class and political democratization process, we focus on the middle class and the relationship with political democracy in China.
