China Environmental Science, 2008,28(11) 1037~1041 Abstract Based on monitoring the runoff water quality on the surface of free-way besides LuKou, which lead to NanJing aerodrome, the variations, Even Mean Concentrations (EMCs) and the impact factors of pollutants concentrations were analyzed. The concentrations of pollutants in the initial runoff were higher, and were lower in the later runoff, when the rainfall and rainfall intensity was heavy; otherwise, the concentrations of pollutants in the runoff were around a value and decreased slightly, when the rainfall and rainfall intensity was low. The median EMCs of SS, COD, BOD , NH N, TN 5 3 and TP was about 126, 127, 19.50, 1.59, 4.44 and 0.28 mg/L in turn, in which SS and COD were primary pollutants. The contaminated runoff quality was mainly influenced by dry weather deposits, and the influence of rainfall intensity to the concentrations of SS, COD, TP was only less than dry weather deposits, but to the concentrations of BOD , NH N, TN, 5 3 the influence of rainfall amounts were only less than dry weather deposits.
