Step 1 :lead-in
I will use some pictures to lead in.Such as:《Journey to the West》
How did they get to the west ?On foot.By horse?
We think it’s too slowly.But they can use a fast way to get the classics now.
MR.TANG can use emails or qq.He can get the classics easily.
So we can know that the Internet plays an important role in society.
Many students think we can ;earn all we need on the Internet.Somebody disagree with it.
Now starts step 2.
Step 2 :Read the short essay(p56) and answer the questions.
1.What is the idea that the author supports? The author’s opinion is that we can learn all we need on the Internet.
2.Why he support it?
1)especially on the subject of learning English.
2) That means that we each other have one minute of our teacher’s time!
3) but she can’t help everyone in the class in 50 minutes.
4)It would be much better if we spent the time working on a computer.
5)There are 45 computers in our school, so we could do that.
6)If we work independently, we can learn much more.
