上 海 建 桥 学 院 《英语阅读（2）》课程教案 周次 1 第1次课 2 学时 教案撰写人 吴远恒 课程单元名称 Unit 1 The Shadowland of Dreams 本次授课目的与要求 通过课文的学习，掌握词汇的运用，理解作者的思想，学会分析判断上下文的逻辑关系，同时，激励学生通过课文学努力实现自己的心中之梦。 教学设计思路 以几个学生陈述自己之梦而导入课文,学习作者为实现自己梦想而坚持不懈奋斗17年从而实现自己梦想的可贵精神。课文学习包括文章主旨分析、词汇运用、句意理解、难句翻译等。在阅读过程中，引导学生注意篇章大意，学会分析推断作者意图及快速阅读技巧。 本次教学重点与难点 重点词汇及句子： Words: requite/ prospect/ well up/ veteran/ wilt/ exhilarate/ corrode Sentences: 1.I wasn’t going to be one of those people who die wondering, “What if?” 2. There’s everything you’ve made of yourself so far. 3.
