基于语料库的《阿Q正传》两个英译本 的风格研究 蒋跃王乐韬詹菊红 西安交通大学外国语学院 摘要： 本研究基于鲁迅小说《阿Q正传》的两个译本语料建立语料库，对比了两个译本 在词汇和句法两个层而上的翻译风格和翻译策略，发现两者在词汇丰富度、词汇 密度、虚词密度、词语选用和语体等计量风格特征方面均有显著差界。杨译本翻 译策略趋于异化，Lyell的趋于归化。杨译木翻译风格简洁、书面化、词法句法 比较接近TEC语料库代表的翻译语言，具有典型的翻译语言范化的特点。Lyell 译本翻译风格语体更加口语化，靠近原文本语体，且更加接近BNC语料库代表 的英语原创语言，“翻译腔”不明显。差异的成因可能与不同的翻译方向，采用 的不同的叙事结构、叙事角度及相应的翻译策略有关。 关键词： 《阿Q正传》；翻译风格;翻译方向; 作者简介：蒋跃（1958-），男，四川成都人，西安交通大学外国语学院教授， 博士生导师，研究方向：语料库翻译学、计量语言学、文本数据挖掘； 作者简介：王乐韬（1992-）,男，山西太原人，西安交通大学外国语学院研究 生，研究方向：语料库翻译学、计量语言学、文本数据挖掘。 收稿日期：2017-06-14 基金：国家社科基金项目“译出与译入文本语言特征的计量风格学研究”（项目 批准号:17BYY007）的部分成果 A corpus-based stylistic study on two translations of The True Story of Ah Q JIANG YUE WANG LETAO ZHAN JUHONG School of foreign languages, Xian Jiaotong University; Abstract： Using two translations of The True Story of Ah Q, a novel by Lu Xun, this study built a corpus and compared the translation styles and strategies reflected in the two translations on lexical and syntactic levels. It is found that the two translations have signifiednt differences in many quantitativc style fcatures like lexical richncss， lexical density， function word density, word selection and type of writing. Yang s translation strategy is closer to foreignization while LyelT s strategy is closer to domestication. Yangs translation shows a concise written language style. Its lexical and syntactic features are relatively close to TEC，s translatcd lemguage, which is characterized by typical standardization. In contrast, LyelT s translation shows more colloquial style in language, which is close to the style of original English novels and relatively close to BNC s English original language. This suggests that Lyel 1’ s translation doesnt have a clear utrans 1 ationesev problem. The differcnces arc probably due to the differcncc betwecn the two translators in their translation directions, narrative structures, narrative angles as well as different translation strategies.
