Athens, the capital of Greece, is known as the birthplace of western civilization. Ability Aims Help to train the students’ reading ability. Help the students to learn four great European cities, including Paris, Barcelona, Florence and Athens, by reading the text. Language Focus Teaching Important Points Introduce the four famous cities and ask students to describe them in English. Enable the students to master some important words, phrases and sentences according to the text.
