Step 1: Warm-up
1. Greetong,
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, teacher.
T: How are you today?
Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?
T: I’m fine, too.
2. Sing:Let’s have a picnic today.
Step 2: Preview
1. With the help of the pictures, practice the talk like :
A : Can I have some bread?
B : Here you are.
A : Thank you.
B : You’re welcome.
2. The teacher says----You are hungry or thirsty and you want to ask for something to eat or drink.You say, “Can I have some bread? Or Can I have some bread, please? ” Next, let’s learn more things to eat or drink.
Step 3: Presentation
1. B. Let’ learn.
(1) Show color pictures of “cake”,“fish”,“rice” and ask “What’s this?” Teacher says,“Yes, it’s fish.”and say“ I like fish. Do you like fish ? Do you want to have some fish?”,Follow the teacher (read the words)。
Learn rice, cake in the same way.(birthday cake can be talked here like “ It’s a birthday cake.”)
(2) Take a glass of water into the classroom and drink it in front of the class,Ask the class “Look at the galss,.Can you tell what’s in the glass?” (They may answer me in English like”Shui !”) “Yes, it’s water.” (read the word several times)
(3) Let’s go to Zip and Zoom’s canteen and see what’ happening in the canteen.(Show the ppt to practice the ne
