1. Ask Ss which invention they like best.
Ss think about their favorite inventions.
2. Let some Ss talk about their favorite inventions.
Ⅲ. Thinking
1. Ask Ss what things they don’t like to do.
Eg: Problem: quickly taking notes in class.
2. Discuss in group and think of an invention that could help you.
Eg: New invention: a special pen
What it is used for: taking notes quickly in class
3. Ss discussing the problems and try to make their own notes.
4. Let some Ss read their notes to the class.

1. Tell Ss to write a description of your new invention.
