1.Teaching aims:
(1)Knowledge aims : I like music that I can sing along with.
I prefer music that has great lyrics.
(2)Ability aims: Enable the Ss to talk about preferences and listening skill.
(3)Feeling aims: Enable the Ss to enjoy kinds of music.

4.Teaching steps:
Step1 Lead-in. Greet each other. Then let students sing a song together.
Step2 Students make a duty report. Then talk about the music with all the students.
Step3 1a.Play different kinds of music for the students on the screen.
I like music that I can sing along with.
I like music that isn’t too loud.
I like music that I can dance to.
Step4 1b. We will hear Tony and Betty talking about the music. Tell them to tick the right statements while they are listening.
Step5 1c . Ask student what kinds of music do they like. Then get them to work in pairs. Ask several pairs of students to perform their conversations.
Step6. Do a guessing game, review the language points and lead in the next part..
Step7 . Homework.
