Step 1 Warm up
Greet the students and check the homework.
Show the word cards with the name of places to the students.
Step 2 Presentation

Call students’ attention to the “Places” and“Qualities” columns in the chart, and catch the meaning of each word. Get students to write the words in the blanks individually, and then have students share their answers with the classmates.

First a pair of students to read and demonstrate the conversation to the class. Then get students work in pairs to talk about the as required.
Step 3 Practice

Read the instructions to the students. Then let the students listen and complete the tasks. Finally check the answers.
Step 4 Consolidation
Have the students practice the conversations with the information they hear in 1c.
Step 5 Summary and Homework
In this class, we’ve learned some new vocabulary to describe the qualities of some places. We’ve also learned the target language by listening and oral practice.
