Unit 5 What are the shirts made of? 课时划分:共分5课时 第5课时 Section B (3a-Self Check) 教学分析 3a-3b活动都属于阅读后的写作活动,3a活动利用阅读材料输入的信息,通过提问和回答的方式让学生介绍自己家乡的特产、食物或艺术品。3b在3a的基础上进行写的训练,教材提供了写作框架,降低了难度。Self Check部分渗透了对语言学习内容进行归类和小结的学习策略。 教学目标 知识目标:复习本单元学习的重点词汇和语言结构。能力目标:能够用书面语言写产品介绍。情感目标:热爱我国的传统民间艺术。 教学重点 运用所学词汇和被动语态简单介绍某个东西的特点。 教学难点 被动语态的用法和功能。 教学准备 幻灯片、多媒体等。 教学步骤任务时间活动形式 师生课堂活动 设计意图 Step 1 Revision(5mins) One boy says a kind of traditional art form; the girl says what it is made of. Then another girl says a kind of traditional art form, and then asks a boy to say its material. Have a competition between boys and girls; see which group can win the competition. 以竞赛方式回答,高密度、大容量、快节奏地复习短文内容。 Step 2Lead-in(7mins) 1. T: Can you think of the most famous or special thing in your hometown? Lead the students to say some things about food, art or toy etc ... then lead the students to think about these questions:What is the name of the product?Is it made of / from wood / paper / gold / silver / cotton / silk / glass / plastic / steel?Where is it made? What is it used for? What is it known for? Why is it special? 2. Ask the students to choose their favorite art works, finish 3a, and discuss them with a partner. 这是一个承上启下的环节,承上复习了所学新知,为完成3b写作奠定基础。 Step 3Writing(8mins) 1. The teacher helps the students to understand 3b, gives the students answers of 3a, and then gives them an example to describe the art form.2.
