Teaching Procedures: Step 1: Review The teacher shows a picture of potato chips and asks the students: Do you like it?/ Do you remember the history of chips? Showing the history of chips on the screen sentence by sentence by asking the following questions: When were the potato chips invented?/ Who invented them?/ How did the chef cook them?/ How do they taste? The teacher discusses with the students about the difficulties to make potato chips by ourselves. Step 2: Lead-in It’s difficult for most of us to cut the potatoes into slices(薄片). So the teacher got help from a “Shen Qi”. Then showing the picture of it with a question, “What are they used for?” Showing the information of the knife on Taobao. 3. Showing the making procedures of the potatoes chips. Step 3: Showing an invention 1. The teacher shows some pictures of apples, and talks with the students about dicing(切块) the apples. 2. Showing the information of the fruit dicing knife on Amazon. 3. Marking the name, price and description of it on the picture. Helping the students understand the description. 4. The teacher takes the real knife and an apple out, then shows how to use the knife. Step 4 : Writing a description of the invention Asking the students discuss with their partners to help th
