1. Language skills
1.1 Students are able to ask and answer questions about subjects by using “what, why, who” questions.
1.2 Ss will be able to describe the favorite subjects and teachers, and tell the reasons.
1.3. Ss are able to describe their favorites beside subjects.
2. Language knowledge
2.1 Ss learn some names of subjects such as science, P.E., history.
2.2 Ss have a review of some description words: interesting, exciting, fun, relaxing, difficult, and boring.
2.3 Ss can use and answer these questions:
(1)-What’s your favorite subject?
-My favorite subject is…
(2)-Why do you like…?
-Because it’s…
(3)-Who is your…teacher?
-My… teacher is…
3. Moral Objectives
3.1 Ss will be able to cooperate with their partners or group mates.
3.2 Ss will have a sense to love their school and teachers.

根据教材内容和学生的实际基础设定了这个教学目标
本单元围绕“My favorite subject” 展开教学活动,讨论学校的课程设置以及对学生对各门课程的喜好程度,并以此为基础讨论自己每日的学习安排。
通过本课学习,要求学生能够熟练掌握“what ,why, who” 结合课程的特殊疑问句的表达法并能给出相应回答。并且通过描述自己最喜爱的学科及老师,学会爱学校,爱同学和爱老师。并提高语言交际能力。
Ⅱ.Focuses:
1. Vocabulary: names of subjects such as science, P.E., biology…;
2. Sentences: What’s your favorite subject? My favorite subject is science. Why do you like science? Because it’s interesting. Who is your science teacher? My science teacher is Mrs. Dong.

本课的重点是学科的名称以及对最喜欢的学科和老师的谈论。

2. The use of possessive pronouns.
