教学目标
1.掌握重点词汇及目标语言What are you doing? I’m watching TV.
2.能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。
能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配。
3、培养培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,
乐于合作,培养学生团结合作的精神。

What is he doing ? He is v-ing.

教学难点:现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音,
能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。

教学过程
Step1? Warming-up
1.Greetings
2.Sing an English song”Are you eating?”
Step2 Lead-in
Lead?out?the?new?words and phrases and check the students’pronunciation.
Word spelling competition(the countdown for 2 minutes).
(Do some actions and ask some students to perform the actions.)
eg.T: What are you doing ?
S: I am doing homework.(Help him/her to answer)
T: What is he doing ?
S:He is doing his homework.
Teach?:playing basketball, reading a book, cleaning the classroom…?
Step3?Practice?(Task 1)
Ask?and?answer in pairs:?What?are you?doing??I’m... T: What’s she/he doing? Ss: She/He is eating… Ask and answer in pairs and then ask pairs of students to practice the target language.
Step4 Presentation (Task 2)
1.?Show some pictures of activities on the screen and inspire the students to summarize and then present the sentence structure.
Step5 Practice 2c
Get the students to ask and answer like this: Is Nancy doing her homework? No she isn’t .She’s writinga letter…Guess the activities.
Step6 Play a guessing game. Show some pictures and let them guess what people are doing.(If he can guess it, he will win a present...)
Step7 Practice 1a and 1c

2.Pairwork,?ask?and?answer?questions?about?the?pictures.?Ask?some?pairs
