六上Unit3 B Read and write教学设计 Teaching aims: 1、To learn the new words and phrases: Mid-Autumn Festival, get together, make mooncakes, tell a story about Chang’e, read a poem. 2、To master the sentence pattern: ---What are you going to do on Mid-Autumn Festival? ---I’m going to get together with my family and have a big dinner./ I’m going to watch the moon and eat mooncakes. 3、To make similar dialogues using the given information and to make the students improve their speaking, listening, reading and writing abilities. At the same time, make the students get to know they should love their family and Chinese traditional holidays. Teaching procedures: Step 1: Greeting and leading in Greet the students as usual. Ask students to have a PK. Then listen to a song What are you going to do. Then teacher asks several students to answer what they are going to do on Saturday. Step 2: Presentation 1、Teacher shows some pictures about different holidays and asks the students to tell their English names. T: What festival is it? Ss:National Day.(help Ss answer) Then teacher asks: “What are you going to do on National Day?” Ss answer the questions: I’m going to .... 2、The same way to show the Spring Festival, and asks students about their holiday plans. Then play a part of music to ask students to guess the festival. Then ask students what they are going to do on these festivals. 3、Ask students to say another festival when their family get together.
