Passport shelf composite by two part(up/down), every RNC only need one part, so one passport shelf can install two RNC 1500.
RNC 1500 card config: CPx ; PSFP(DCPS); OC3 ; GE, the following is PSFP(DCPS) PMC config: we need 4 PSFP(DCPS) for RNC IC.

3.1 Serial cable
we need a Serial cable for RNC IC, the following is Serial cable map

3.2 Hardware Configuration Using Startup: Out-BAnd OAM
use the serial cable connect PC and CP, open a serial connect with CP(SecureCRT is recommend)
if the Passport is a RNC, the connect need user/password: debug/debug
