1. 能正确运用以下短语进行书面表达:nothing serious, stay in bed, worry about, follow the doctor’ s advice等。
2. 能正确写一篇有关日常小病的文章并提出相对应的建议。
3.完成Section D的Grammar 和Functions。清楚地知道本单元的语法重点。

巩固学生根据时态的需要,培养交错使用过去时和一般现在时的能力。

通过对话学习,展现了同学之间友爱之情,教会学生要懂得关心他人、帮助他人、表达并感受人与人之间的美好感情。

教 学 内 容
Step 1 Pre-reading
revise the contents of section B.
T:What happened to Michael?
How long should he stay at home?
Tell Ss: Maria,Jane and Kangkang come to visit Michael.
Step 2 While-reading
Read 1 and answer the following questions
What did they bring for Michael?
What are their suggestions to Michael?
What will they do to help Michael’s lessons?
Read again, and mark T or F.check the answers
Explain the key points.
Step 3 After-reading
1.Listen to 1 and repeat.
Do 2. Suppose you are Miss Wang.Write an email to M and give him some advice.(First,talk about different advicein class, write after class)
Step 4 Practice
Sum up differents kinds of illnesses they have learnt,and how to give the right advice using should/shouldn’t; had better/ had better not ( Use some pictures)
Finish the sentences in grammar and functions, then read them loudly.
Homework: 1.Copy and revise the words in this topic.
Finish off the exercises in section D
Write the email to M.
