Step 1 Warming up

1. Game: Stand up/ Sit down.
T ask the S to play the game, and know the main idea.
Sing the song: Hello
Hello, Sarah! Do oh do. Hello, John, do oh do. Hello, Mike! Do oh do. Hello! Hello! Hello!
T guide Ss to sing with the recorder.
What English do you know in your life?
T ask Ss to give some examples.
Step 2. Presentation
Let’s talk
Hello!/ Hi!
T: Hello. Im Miss Jin.
T ask Ss to say: Hello.
Then T-SA say hello.
T present the sentences on Bb: Hello!Ss read, then T ask Ss work in pair and act
T-SA act, then T lead in: Hi!Ss read, then T ask Ss work in pair and act
T guide Ss read and act.
E.g: SA: Hello!/ Hi!
SB: Hi!/ Hello!

T introduce: Hello. Im Miss Jin. Whats your name? You can say: Hello, Im
T-SA act.
T present the sentences on Bb: Hello!/ Hi, Im Ss read, then T ask Ss work in pair and act
T put the head mask on, and say hello to Ss. Then T ask Ss to act the characters on book. Miss White/ Wu Yifan/ Sarah/ Liu Xin/ John.
Listen to the tape. And imitate.
T ask Ss work in four. Read aloud together twice. Then Ss read together.
Game: 击鼓传花
T play the music: Hello. Ss introduce.
SA introduce himself.
SA-SB have an introduction.
6)请戴着Wu Yifan, Sarah, John头饰的学生站在讲台前,另选一同学用眼罩蒙住眼睛,让Sarah等同学中的一个说Hello, 让蒙住眼睛的同学猜。如果猜中,要说Yes, Im 如果猜错,要说No, Im 猜对得一分。
