Leaders Contribution: Compared with Managers Introduction In the modern society, global competition, as well as the economic, political and social fields revolutionized, global cooperation among nations developing faster and faster, no one want to deny that there is a close relationship between leaders, managers and the modern economic integration. which gave more questions about leaders : what leaders means? Are they same as managers? What managers means? Leaders, who refers to the individuals or groups who undertake a certain leadership positions, to fulfill specific leadership functions, acquire a certain power, to assume some leadership responsibility through legal channels in the formal social organization. In other words, l eaders must let vision, strategies, goals, and values be the guide-post for action and behaviour rather than attempting to control others.(John Fenton, 2009 Among powers, responsibilities and functions, powers is a means or a condition to fulfill the duties and to exercise functions, which are the essence and core of leaders. From the view of Roberts, W, (2009 leaders who want to effectively perform leadership functions can not just rely on institutionalized statutory powers, they must have high authorities which are convinced and complied with people. So that leaders can have a huge rallying point to subordinate, have an attraction which likes a magnet to subordinate, have a leaven to subordinate.Managers, who are consist of people or groups who are the main body of the process of management behavior, have appropriate powers and responsibilities, have a certain capacity to engage in the realistic management activities. However, in comparison, managers and their management skills play a decisive role in the organization management activities. Managers accomplish objectives by coordinating and monitoring the work of others in the organizations activities.
