Good afternoon , Ladies and Gentlemen !
My name is Fang E. I come from Zhong Huo Junior High School .I am very glad to be standing here and talking about Unit3 Last Weekend
Part 1 Teaching Material:
1.status
There are 4 units in Book 8 . The central item is how to master the past tense. We’ll study and drill the sentences and the word ’s pronunciation .
2. analysis of students
The Ss know some verb phrases , the past form,
the pattern, the structure and the rule of the past tense. Moreover, this lesson completes the transition of verb and past form in the sentence.
So I will pay much attention to train it in my class. Otherwise. I will try to train the students listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities, Mainly improve their communicative abilities and encourage them to speak more English.
3.Teaching aims
1). Aims on the knowledge
(a) To enable the Ss to listen ,speak ,read and write: Did you …+V…? Yes, I did. /No, I didn’t. Make sure that Ss can use these sentences in real situations.
(b) To help Ss finish Let’s find out and Let’s chant.
2). Aims on the abilities
(a) To develop Ss abilities of listening and speaking.
(b) To train the Ss ability of working in groups.
(c) To foster Ss abilities of communication and their innovation.
3). Aims on the emotion
(a) To foster Ss consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition.
(b) To lead Ss to show their loveliness to the old and the young.
4.Key points
(a) To help Ss grasp the structures: Did you …+V…? Yes, I did. /No, I didn’t.
(b) To enable Ss to study in groups and co-operate skillfully.
Difficult points
(1) To help the Ss use verb and the past form correctly.
(2) To finish the survey by themselves.
