Learn some writing skills and master the structure of an ad
Teaching aids: PPT ,blackboard;cards;
Teaching procedures:
Step1 Leading-in
(1)Show some pictures at uncle Wang’s noodles house and ask students to answer what kind of noodles they like
(2)Ask students to make some dialogues with partners in a restaurants if they are at Uncle Wang’s noodles house(shelf check 3)
(To introduce Ss to the unit goal:order food)
Step 2 Presentation
(1)Let students fill in the blanks in the ad with the words in the box in 3a.
(2)Check Ss’ answers.
(3)Have Ss read the ad carefully and help the students to find out what the structure the ad is
(4)Explain some important language points.
(To help students present the target language ).
Step3.practice
(1)Give students some minutes to think about in groups how to write an ad for the food in a restaurant and discuss what wonderful sentences they can use in an ad
(2)Ask students in each group to report their answers and give some good examples to make students understand the structures easily
(3)Imagine you have a restaurant and write an ad for your restaurant using the following information in the table, these sentences structures may help you.(3a3b)

Have some Ss present their ad
(To give Ss practice with the target language.)
Step4 consolidation
Show some ads the students wrote on the ppt and check them with the students together
Ask students to find out if there are some mistakes in the ad.
