Book5Unit4 Making the news 英语倒装句精讲 一、完全倒装 1. 由 here, there, now, then 表示地点、时间 的副词引导的句子 , 其谓语动词是 be, go, come, exist, follow 等 . Here is a letter for you. There goes the bell. There is a book on the desk. Now comes your turn. Then came a new difficulty. 注 : 代词做主语时 , 只把该副词提前 , 主谓 语序不变 . Here we are. 2. 为了使情景生动逼真 , 常将表示方向的副 词 out, in, up, down, away 之类的状语放至 句首 , 这时主谓需要完全倒装 . e.g. Out rushed a tiger from the bushes. Away went the children. Down flew a bird. Up went the arrow into the air. Up it flew . In he comes . 注 : 代词做主语时 , 只把该副词提前 , 主谓语序不 变 . 3. 以地点状语开头的句子 , 其谓语动词 是 be, live, lie, stand 等 . On the grass lie a group of boys. Under the tree stands a girl. In the village live two blind men. e.g. At the back of your school is a unit. 4. 表语位于句首时，整个句子要倒装 结构为“表语 + 连系动词 + 主语” 1. 形容词 + 连系动词 + 主语 Present at the meeting were Professor White, Professor Smith and many other guests. 2. 过去分词 + 连系动词 + 主语 Gone are the days when they could do what they liked to the Chinese people. 3. 介词短语 +be+ 主语 Among the goods are Christmas trees, flowers and toys. 1) “ If you die, who will get your money?” asked Holmes. 2) “Where are you going ?” demanded the taller of the two doctors. 5. 在直接引语中，直接引语提前。 1. not, never hardly, seldom, little, nowhere, barely, rarely, scarcely, carelessly, in no way, at no time, in no condition, by no means 等。 否定含义 词 或 短语 位于句首时 . 1)Seldom do I see him working hard. 2)Never will I make that mistake again. 3)At no time will China be the first to use nuclear weapons. 二、部分倒装 注意： 1) 当上述单词不提前时，则不倒装。 I seldom read newspaper before. He had hardly finished his homework when the light went out. 2) 当这些词作形容词修饰主语时且置句 首时，句子不倒装。 Little work was done yesterday. 2. 含有否定词提前的特殊句型 : 1. not only…but also… 不但 …… 而且 …… e.g. Not only did I know her, but also I am her close friend. 2. not until… 直到 …… 才 …… e.g. Not until the teacher came in did he finish his work. 3. hardly…when… 一 …… 就 …… no sooner…. th
