By now you will be on your way to delivering your annual KPOs. You should also be making good progress on your personal development plan.

The Mid Year review focuses on your achievement in the first half of the year. It highlights where you have performed well and also identifies any issues that may stop you delivering your objectives for the rest of the year and helps you get back on track.

The most important part of the process is the conversation you have with your manager. You will discuss both your KPOs and your development plan with them. This conversation is designed to give you the support and guidance you need to deliver your objectives and development plan by the end of the year.

All employees should have a mid year review. Although new starters will have reviews as part of their onboarding process it is still good to sit down with your manager and ensure you have KPOs and a development plan in place.
