TO: FROM: RE: Making things work better We have all experienced the frustration of having to deal (describe current organizational problems being addressed by project). All these issues have a direct impact on the quantity, quality and efficiency of our daily work. In order to address these issues, we have asked Arthur Andersen to help us take an objective look at our current (describe scope of project work). We have asked them to help us (describe goals of project), identifying areas for improvement and suggesting ways to (describe outcomes of project). Mr. XXX leader (or describe members of Steering Committee) will act as our organization’s project on this program and will work closely with Arthur Andersen in analyzing our operations with the view toward making (name of organization) a more productive and efficient organization. To understand how we work, the Arthur Andersen consultants will be talking to people in various departments about what we do, how we get our job done, and what types of problems we usually find trying to get it done. You will be asked to spend some time with them to tell them how we work and to help them gather operational data. You may already have a few suggestions on how we can improve our work processes that you have been carrying around with you. This is a great opportunity to bring them to light. . I encourage you to do so. Everything that you will discuss with them will be held in strict confidence, with anonymity maintained throughout the project. We believe that this is a unique opportunity to share your thoughts, as your ideas will be a source for improvement opportunities.
