Unit 4 Section B Reading Dont Eat in Class Teaching Procedures Unit4 Dno’t Eat in Class Section B 2b Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! It’s my great honor to share my teaching plan with you. I’ll teach Unit4 Don’t eat in class Section B 2b. To make my presentation clear, I’ll present my teaching plan from six parts. . I. Analysis of teaching material The topic of Unit 4 is about rules The passage of 2b is about Molly’s rules and Dr. Know’s letter. Students may be not happy with so many rules, so I’ll inspire them to take a positive attitude towards unhappy things and inspire them to follow the rules and make great progress. II. Analysis of the students Students in Grade 7 have learned simple present tense and they learned some imperative sentences. And they can communicate with others in English, using the simple words and expressions. So it’s not difficult for them to learn how to describe rules. III. Teaching objectives According to the teaching material and the students in Grade 7, I designed three objectives: 1.The knowledge objectives: By the end of this lesson, students can know about the information of rules. And they can master the important words and expressions, such as dirty, noisy, make one’s bed and so on. 2. The ability objectives: (1). To train students’ reading ability: a. Students can predict how to write a letter with the help of the text. b. Students can retell the main idea of each part after answering questions. C.Students develop the ability of fast reading, intensive reading, looking for information, getting the main ideas, catching the key words and making use of information according to the context. (2). To improve students’ writing ability. (3)Students can talk about some rule by themselves. 3. The moral objectives (1). Students should learn to see things from positive aspects(方面) (2). To realize the importance of rules. (3). Students learn what is “guidance counselor” IV. Teaching key points and difficult points K
