My hometown When you leave where you lived before,you will find how much you love the hometown I was born in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province. If someone want me to tell he or she something about my hometown, I will divide it into two parts, the overview about Ganzhou and the small village where I grow up. Ganzhou, the second largest city in Jiangxi, also known as Gannan, is located in the south part of Jiangxi Province,covering an area of 39400 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 1 district, 2 county-level cities and 15 counties. It borders Hunan Province to the west, Guangdong to the south, and Fujian to the east, as well as Ji’an and Fuzhou city in Jiangxi to the north. Ganzhou is a very beautiful city with sound envioronment and pleasant climate. It is especially famous for its forestation and mountainous areas. More than 83% of Ganzhou is covered with green and filled with hope. In summer, the trees are thriving, the flowers are in full bloom. Walking under the shadows with dear family members must be a wonderful experience. In autumn, it is cooland the breeze touches your face gently. It is also timefor harvest. In winter, the climate here is cold. It doesn’t snow often. But here in Ganzhou, winter has its special charm. Ganzhou is also rich in different kinds of resources, such as agricultural resources, timber resources, abundant water resources, valuable animal resources, rare mineral resources, and so on. The rising of the trade and ports along the Ganjiang River between the south and the north appeared in Jiangxi. The corridor along the Gan River is one of the few easily traveled routes through the otherwise mountainous and rugged terrain of the south-eastern mountains. In my heart,the village I was born there is the most beautiful place. Its dusters of cottages, its thatched pavilions, its lanes and bathing places, its games and gatherings, its fileds and murkets, its life as a whole as I saw it in imagination, greatly attracted me. The one I am t
