Larry often helps to bring out the best in me. Larry is much less hard-working. A true friend reaches for your hand and touches your heart. I know she cares about me because she’s always there to listen. 2. 熟练掌握以下词汇: necessary, mirror, kid, both, grade, should, saying, reach, hand, loud, similar, laugh 3. 掌握并能正确使用以下重点短语: as long as, be different from, the same as, bring out, in fact, be similar to 二)能力目标:能够读懂一定深度的谈论个人特点的文章,培养寻读 (scanning)的阅读能力,并能写出表述个人特征,对人物进行比较的文章。 三)情感目标:弄清什么是真正的友谊,珍惜友情呵护友情。 二.教学重点: 1.掌握本课单词短语及句型。 2. 掌握一定的阅读策略 三.教学难点: 1. 运用形容词的比较等级描述好友的特征 2.理解朋友与友谊的真正含义 四.教学过程: Step1 Greetings. Step 2 Show the learning aims. Step3 Leading in Listen to a song by Zang Tianshuo, What do you think a good friend should be like ? Step 4 Pre-reading Show the pictures of Jeff Green Huang Lei and Marry Smiths, Who are their best friends? What do they think a good friend should be like ? Should friends be the same or different? Step 5 While reading 1. ( Fast reading Skimming )Listen to the tape,Read the passages quickly and match the person with the right ideas. 2. Careful reading Scanning Work on 2c. Are the questions true or false? Do it in Pairs. Then check the answers,Point out the important phrases in the passages. Which group can do the best? 4. Check with each other and then show their answers. Step 4 Post reading Do some exercise to practice the new words and phrases. 2.Which saying about friends is your favorite? 3. Have a discussion: talk about what you think a good friend should be like. Discuss in groups, check some groups. 4.Watch a video: What’s true friendship? 5. Listen to a poem about friends.
