Voigt也是其寄主植物之一。锯叶裂臀瓢虫在红瓜上有划圈行为，取食前先用口 器在叶片上划一个圈，然后在圈内取食。本研究以红瓜叶片在室内饲养锯叶裂臀 瓢虫，探讨了幼虫虫龄、成虫性别，以及虫体长度对取食圈大小的影响。 1龄、2龄、3龄和4龄幼虫，以及雄性成虫和雌性成虫的平均体长分别为 0.22、0.41、0.51、0.90、0.58和0.66 cm,彼此之间均有极显著的差异。 4龄幼 虫所划的取食圈最大，其平均面积为4.15 cm2，极显著高于各龄幼虫和成虫；雄 性成虫和雌性成虫的取食圈面积次之，分别为 1.78和2.40 cm2，但两者之间的 差异未达显著水平；2龄和3龄幼虫的取食圈面积之间也没有显著的差异，其值 分别为0.41和0.79 cm2； 1龄幼虫则没有划圈习性。锯叶裂臀瓢虫所划取食圈的 面积与虫体的长度呈现极显著的正相关。虫体愈长，取食圈愈大。 关键词：锯叶裂臀瓢虫；红瓜；取食圈；体长 Abstract Henosepilachna pusilianima (Mulsant), a phytophagous coccinellid, has it distribution in Hainan, Taiwan, Guangxi, and Yunnan of China. This beetle feeds some plants of Cucurbitaceae, and possibly becomes a potential pest on melon vegetables in South China. Cocci nia gran dis (L.) Voigt, being a wild pla nt, is one of its host pla nts. The beetle has drenching behavior on C. gran dis. It sn ips a circular trench on leaves, and then feed the leaf tissues isolated by the trench. In this paper, the beetles were reared in lab with leaves of C. gran dis, in order to explore effects of larval in stars, adult sex, and body len gth on area of feedi ng tren ch. The averages of body len gth of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th in star larvae, male and female adult were 0.22, 0.41, 0.51,0.90, 0.58, and 0.66 cm, respectively, among which there were great sig nifica nt differe nee. The mean area of feed ing trench sipped by 4th in star larvae was 4.15 cm2, being great sig nifica ntly larger tha n those by adults and young larvae. The size of feeding trench by male and female adults was 1.78 and 2.40 cm2, respectively, but there was no sig nifica nt differe nee betwee n two sex in dividuals.
