By viewing the current situation of elderly sports policies at the current stage in China on the contrary， the authors put forward the following proposals： exert academic researchs “adhesive”function in policy making， form a long-term effective “evidence chain”of the policies; from the social support perspective， perfect the elder sports policy system framework， boost various elder sports regulationsand systems in a linked way; in terms of policy rules and regulations， establish elderly sports activity classification and standardization awareness， realize the gradual fusion of grassroots sports and medicine by relying on communities.
