However, the celebration of two hundred years anniversary of Louisiana purchase became a simulated trial of Jefferson, who was convicted of three crimes did to the Indians. In contrast with the trial, in the past the evaluation for him was quite high. There is no doubt that this trial revealed the truth of history, on which let me ponde匚 As American president his policy to Indians were totally different from his democratic ideology. Based on the material of his letters to Indians leaders, the officials as well as the government document, my article shows difference of the policies, analyzes the inner reason of the policy trend, and reveals the contradict of him with identity changing? Overlooking the whole development of Indians9 policy development, I try to judge reasonably and deeply reached the truth of the history by the analysis from the point of the view of the America history and its development, the contradiction of the democratic ideology and his identity, as well as the Indians tribes,
