Presentation.
1.T:Today I bring a new friend to you. Guess who’s he?Listen to me carefully. He is a man. He is tall and strong. He will teach you PE. Lead out the title of this unit: Unit 3 He’s our PE teacher.
2.Show a photo of Yao Ming. Learn the new word: tall . Yao Ming is a tall man.Show a photo of Wang Zulan. Learn the new word: short. Wang Zulan is a short man.
3.Teach the new word: man. Show another word :woman .
Let the students find the relationship and the same part of the two words.
4.Show a photo of Yao Ming again. Guide the students to say:Yao Ming is a tall man. Show a photo of Angelababy. Guide the students to say: Angelababy is a short woman. In the same way, describe Wang Zulan and his wife.
5.Describe the pictures with“...is tall. ”,“...is short.” Encourage the students to have a try. Describe the students in the class with the sentences.
6.Play a game. Say the word quickly.
