E?mail: HYPERLINK mailto:bella@bella@ Received: accepted: Abstract Objective： To investigate the clinical therapeutic effect of oxymatrine combined with lamivudine on the early cirrhosis after chronic hepatitis B- Methods： Randomly select 65 patients with the early cirrhosis after chronic hepatitis B, 33 patients received oxymatrine and lamivudine(Oxymatrine capsule 200mg po tid, Lamivudine lOOmg po qd for 1 year), 32 patients were considered as the control group merely received lamivudine(lOOmg po qd for 1 year). Liver function, the values of serum liver fibrosis marker including precollagen type III(PCIII), hyaluronia acid(HA), laminin(LN), collagen type IV (IV-C) and the quantitation of HBV-DNA at 0, 3, 6, and 12 months were detected - On the same time, Score of Child-Pugh wre evaluated . Liver biopsy pathology was done in the end of therapy. Results: Liver function (ALT.Tbil)and Score of Child-Pugh in oxy marine alliance group were better than the control group. The values of serum PCIII, HA, LN, and IV-C in two groups was decreased significantly after treatment 12 momths.The alliance group had a better effect than the controls(P0.05). The quantitation of HBV-DNA in the alliance group at 6 and 12 months was decreased significantly than the control5s(P0.05). The liver biopsy pathological changes such as n
