With the continuous advancement of the new curriculum reform, we are more and more aware of the main role of students in teaching. English reading teaching should achieve effective reading skills to cultivate student’s reading comprehension and enrich English teaching methods This thesis discusses the influence of mind mapping in junior high school by using it in Qinghe bilingual middle school’s English teaching. Meanwhile, through the investigation and research to explore a new English reading teaching model in junior high school, which can bring some positive effects to the English reading
