Lesson 13: How Old Are You?
一、教学目标
1. 知识与技能:通过本课的学习使学生熟记询问年龄和生日的基本用语:How old are you?并且达到能在实际生活中自如的询问年龄和生日并回答。
2. 过程与方法:以学生为主体,结合本课内容, 让学生用直观的方法来学习新知识, 联系学生实际情况,与学生同学同乐,使学生学到新知识又活跃了课堂气氛,提高学生的英语表达能力。
3. 情感态度与价值观:记住朋友的生日并能及时送上关心和祝福,给他人送去快乐的同时,自己也收获快乐。

重难点:询问年龄:How old are you? 你多大了?/ 你几岁? I’m ______ years old.

四、教学过程
一、Greeting:
T:Hello,everyone. How are you?
Ss: Fine, thanks, and you?
T: I’m fine,thank you. What day is it today?
Ss: It is
T:What ie the date today?
Ss: It is
T: Ok, sit down, please!
二、Review
Sing a song《Numbers》
T: Do you like to sing a song? Do you like numbers? Ok, let’s sing a song《Numbers》.
T:Ok, you did a good job.Today we will learn 《Lesson 13 How old are you?》.
三、Present the new lesson
Step 1: Lead in and learn “How old are you?”
①T: Now look, what is this? (出示How old are you? 卡片)Who can read?
Ss: How old are you?
问2到3个学生:How old are you?
Ss: I’m …years old.
拿出词条:I’m …years old, 贴在黑板上。
T; Look, I’m is equal I am. Do you know? 并板书 I am
Ss: Yes!
T;Can you find Which letter is missing?
Ss: a
T: Yes, the letter a is missing, its pronounce is also missing.
教授几次I’m 和 I am 的读音。
②practice and pair work
T;How old are you? (问2-3 个同学),please ask another students. (学生之间互相问2-3组) Please, talk with your partner( 大概2分钟)
T:Le t’s play a game: Role play.
I have some headwear, some students cosplay, other students ask his or her age. Ok?
(old man, old woman, girl, boy, baby等各种角色,找两组,然后小组内讨论扮演)
Step 2: Learn “When is your birthday?”
T: Please, look here, what is it? (播放ppt 出现很多气球,礼物一个生日蛋糕及生日蛋糕的单词, )
Ss: birthday.教授单词birthday(强调字母th 的发音,让学生拼读,单个读,点名读等
T: Yes, it’s a birthday cake. Whose birthday is today?
Ss: Nobody或者某个学生的名字
T: happy birthday to you. Let’s sing a song for him/her.(并给这位同学带上生日帽。播放生日快乐歌。)
T: I think you will don’t forget this birthday.
T: When is your birthday? (问2-3个同学)
Please take out off your learning notes, write your birthday and talk with your partner.然后同桌展示。
