Step 1 Before reading---Prediction
Predict(预测)which aspects will be mentioned in the passage.

Purpose: to arouse the students’ curiosity about the text.
Step 2 Fast reading
Look through the passage quickly and find out whether you’re right or not.
(Learn to learn: Don’t read the text word by word. Just find the key words.)

Purpose: to practice the students’ skill of scanning and prediction.
Step3 Careful reading
Read the first paragraph carefully and pay more attention to the attributive clauses and correct the mistakes in the rewritten passage.(With the help of Hiteboard Pro)

Purpose: to emphasize the usages of when, where in attributive clauses. Meanwhile practice the students’ skills of correcting mistakes.
2.Read the second paragraph carefully and try to find those important events in Mencius’ whole life.
After the students finish filling the blanks, they will be asked to tell Mencius’s whole life.
Purpose: practice the students’ ability to find information in the passage and the ability to retell passages.
3.Now listen carefully to complete the passage about Mozi. You’ll have two minutes to look it through quickly.
