The river runs too quickly for boats. It is their dream to have a bridge. There is a very big river between their school and the village. (2)掌握重要的词汇短语: cross, river, many, village, between, bridge, boat, year, afraid, leave, dream, cross the river to school, many students, be (not) afraid, easy/difficult to get to school, 2. 语言技能目标: 能运用skimming和scanning等阅读技巧读懂并叙述语篇中学生上学所使用的交通工具的文章,并能用相关知识表达自己上学的方式。 3.情感态度目标: 了解贫困地区孩子们上学的不容易,珍惜现在的学习环境,为实现自己的梦想而努力。 二.教学重难点: (一)重点:词汇,阅读训练与三个句型 1.For many students, it is easy to get to school. 2. It is their dream to have a bridge. 3.There is a very big river between their school and the village. (二)难点:阅读能力和技巧的培养。 三.教学方法:任务型学习与合作型学习。 四.教学步骤: Step 1:Warming-up and greeting. Step 2: Enjoy a song and review the different ways to get to school. (1) A: How do you get to school? B:I get to school by…or I take the/a…to school. A: How does she get to school? B: She gets to school by … or she takes a/the…. Show students the pictures and practice. (First in pairs then in groups) Step 3.New word learning. 1. Show a video and ask students to watch how the girl in it goes to school. 2. Ask students if it’s easy for her to get to school and why. Lead to the new word learning by explaining the reason using different pictures. Step 4. Reading Show students a picture and a title from the passage and ask what the passage is about. Then check the answers. (2)Fast reading Ask students to read the whole passage quickly. And then find out the answer to the question. How do the students in the village go to school? (3) Read paragraph 1 to answer the question. Why do they go to school by ropeway? (4)Read paragraph 2 to answer the question. Does the boy like his school? Why? (5) Re
