5 years Strategy plan Mar 2015 Vision Objectives Vision: To be No.1 tub plant in Kohler worldwide in terms of quality, efficiency, safety, yield, automation and sustainability Objectives: To obtain world class in safety performance, to be No.1 in foundry industry by reducing 50% of DART and RIR. To maintain Cast Iron yield at 92% and Acrylic yield at 99% from year 2014 to 2019; to improve efficiency (Direct Labor Man hour/Unit) ) of Cast Iron from 4.00 to 3.50 and Acrylic from 2.25 to 2.00 by 2019 through automation and stabilized worker turnover. To improve automation to be 59.6% of Cast Iron and 78.3% of Acrylic by 2019. To reduce environmental footprint by 5% year over year through reduce energy consumption and emission, forbid unorganized emission, and development sustainably. 2 Strategic Plan Objective: To obtain world class in safety performance, to be No.1 in foundry industry by reducing 50% of DART and RIR Strategy :Reduce DART from current 0.3 to 0.15 by 2019 Strategy :Reduce RIR from current 0.8 to 0.4 by 2019 Action 1: Standardize all the systems according to headquarters’ EHS requirements and government regulations, manage by rules Action 2: Sign Safe Responsibility Statement by all stuff to understand the responsibility Action 3: Pay attention to the scene, raise ’vigilance ratio’, make an inspection tour of main workshop twice a day by EHS dept.
