Review: The countries where English is spoken as the first language. 2. Warm up. Show a funny video “Acat can speak English ” 3. Pre-reading question: 1) Is English spoken by the largest number of p eople in the world? 2) When and where do you use English? 4. Preview the next period. 3.Try to find out more places where English is used. 初中英语教研组第 10 周集备活动记录 第 10 周 星期 四 （2011 年 11 月 10 日 ） 出席人员：初中组全体英语教师 发言记录：主题 ; 八年级上学期 Lesson 39 课公开课评课 李志月 ： 公开课反思 对于初中英语教材来说， 主要以对话为主。 而从本单元开始以阅读文章为主。 如 何教好阅读文章和如何让学生学好阅读文章是我这次开课的目的。 初中阅读文章 的特点是文章短小， 学生通过自主合作学习可以解决一些疑难问题。 我还采用了 高中英语教学阅读文章的教学步骤结合初中学生学习的习惯， 从导入到预读再到 快速阅读和详读， 分别设计对应的习题， 以求测试学生学习的效果。 同时结合听 力和口语讨论。整个课堂结构紧凑，次序井然。不足之处是 U 盘病毒感染导致 修改后的课件没有保存下来，
