Analysis of teaching material
The story tells an interesting story about the visit at Mike and Helen’s home. The content is not difficult for students to understand and is attractive enough to arouse students’ interest in reading.
Analysis of students
After learning English for over 1 year, students in Grade 4 have had a good command of basic English language knowledge and skills. The numbers are easy for them. What’s more, students in Grade 4 have more interest in thinking-focused and creative activities. They are active in showing and expressing themselves as well.
