Step 1 Greetings
T: Greet the students as usual.
Step 2 Warming up
Show some things, such as curtain, shoes, paper and so on.
Ask students question: what s this?
Ss: This is ... ”
T: What is it made of? ”
Ss: It is made of... ”
Step 3 Presentation
Present the sentence structure, using the pictures on the big screen:

Make students be interested in and get involved in
the topic of this unit.

Step 4 Learning
Show some pictures on the big screen. Try to learn the new words using be
made of“ structure.
Learn the new words: chopsticks, coin, fork, blouse, silver, glass, cotton, steel, grass, leaf
e.g. This pair of chopsticks are made of bamboo.
This coin is made of silver.
Is this blouse made of cotton?
No, it isn t. It s made o f silk.
What s the fork made of?
It s made of steel.
These pigs like grass very much.
a piece of leaf.
Kolas like leaves.
Students discuss with their partner and try to learn the new words.
Give students five more minutes to remember the new words.
