The analysis of teaching material.
The main ideas of this lesson are about verb phrases and the general question, after learning , students can express their after-school activities. The content relates to daily life closely and it also serves a connecting link between the preceding and the following.
The analysis of students.
My pupils are in Grade 5, they have some basic words and sentences for two years , but they are not so active and curious as before, so in this year I’ll help them stimulate interests and learn some basic grammars, make them form a good study habit.
Teaching aims
According to the New Curriculum Standard and the analysis of teaching material and students, I set 3 dimensional-teaching aims:
1.Knowledge aims: students can grasp verb phrases .
2.Ability aims: students can describe and ask their own or others after-school lives, and can improve their listening ,speaking, reading and writing skills.
3.Emotional aims: through the group work, students are glad to talk in English and can cooperate with others actively.
The analysis of key points and the difficult points
1.The key point: verb phrases. 2.The difficult points: general questions with second person as subject and the structure of answers.
