Step1. Warming up and Revision.
1:T says “Hello”to Ss.
2 :T shows CAI.
Step2 Presentation and Drill.
T shows CAI and introduces the background of the dialogue (Explain “neighbor” ”on her way”), then leads Ss to listen to the tape.
T shows two questions and leads Ss to listen to the tape again.
Q1:What does Helen usually do?
Q2:What do Helen’s friends do?
T shows the picture and teaches the new phrase “sweep the floor”.
T says “Helen opens the door and sweeps the floor.” And asks “What do you usually do ”
(teach “by yourself” ”helpers”)
T writes the dialogue “What do you usually do? I sweep the floor.” on the blackboard.
T leads Ss to practice the new dialogue
T teaches the new phrases: clean the desks and chairs
T does actions and leads Ss to guess: clean the windows, clean the blackboard
