教学目标:
本节课为第二单元第七课时,主要是对学生进行英语听,说,读,写的综合训练。要求学生通过读和听获取有用的信息,把握听力材料中的四会单词和词组,完成课本上相关的听力练习;学生能识别用来描述有代表性的假日活动的关键表达法;能够询问和回答有关旅游地点的信息。
教学预备:1. 多媒体
2. 录音
3. 制作一段关于中国旅游景点的视频短片
教学重点:把握参观中国各景点的最正确时节表达。
教学难点:听懂录音材料的内容并完成课本相应练习;
把握句型“ Spring is the best time to do/ for doing…”
教学流程:
1. Lead-in
First, let the students watch the video about some tourist attractions in China.
Ask:
Do you like the video? What can you see in the video?
Leading: In the video, we can see some tourist attractions in China. I like traveling there.
〔通过“视频”这种形式吸引学生的眼球,让学生尽快从课间松弛的状态融入课堂,调动学生的主动性,激发学生的兴趣;同时,老师可以很自然地引出本节课的主题:Traveling in China.〕
2. Presentation
Show some pictures of different popular tourist attractions and talk about them.
1) The picture of Qingdao: a seaside city
Ask:
(1) What’s the name of the city?
(2)What can you do there? (do water ports/go sailing)
Lead students to read: do water sports/go sailing
〔通过图片让学生熟识青岛这座城市的典型特点:海滨城市seaside city,熟识听力材料中的单词,便于学生提高听力效率。〕
Ask:
Which season is the best time to visit Qingdao? 〔Summer is the best time to visit Qingdao/for visiting Qingdao.〕

2) The picture of Hong Kong Disneyland
In China, we can also go to some famous theme parks. What theme parks have we learnt? (Ask students to say something about Hong Kong Disneyland)
