Memorize the words by reading, listening and using them. Try to spell most words in this unit in class.So the Ss must learn in groups and find out the best ways to remember the new words. Then they can make a story with the new words and try to memorize this story. Teaching and learning steps : Step 1 Learn to read the words on page 157. First ask the Ss to read the new words by themselves according tothe phonetics.Note the difficult words. （学生先依据音标自己试读单词，将难读的或没法读出的单词标明 出来。这样让学生自己成竹在胸，以便有目的地去学习。） 2. Read the new words in your groups.
