Teaching Plan for Lesson 16 Topic Lesson 16 Grade Four Teaching type New lesson Teacher Teaching objectives Knowledge objectives: 1.Ss can listen, read, and say the words: drama. 2.Ss can listen, read, say and write the words: science, lesson. 3.Ss can listen, read, and say the sentences: Do you like ….? No, I don’t. I like… Ability(Skills) objectives: 1.Can ask and introduce what subjects students like in the real situation. 2.Train the ability of working in groups. Emotion(Effect) objectives: Know about the subjects, love studying. Learning Strategies: 1.Review and conclude the learnt knowledge actively. 2.Communicate actively with the knowledge they have learned Cultural awareness: Know the food of western country. Key points 1. Ss can talk about subjects with the new sentences . 2. Ss can read the dialogue fluently and understand it correctly. Difficulties Ss can use the words and sentences to talk about the other subjects in real situation. Show the words and review the sentences. The Ss greet to the T . The Ss say sentences with do you like___. Review the words to ready for the new lesson . And inspire their learning interests. Step Two Presentation Show the picture of the sheet. The teacher says: I’m a reporter. Then the teacher interviews a student: what’s your name? what subjects do you like? 2. Show the picture of Kate. T: Guess, what subjects does she like? Then show the word: science. Teach the new sentence and the word “study”. Tell the Ss the meaning of study. 3. Teach the sentences: do you study___ ? Yes, we do. And practice in pairs. 4. Show the picture of Yang Ming. T: Guess, what subjects does he like? Then show the word: drama. Let the Ss make some sentences with drama. 5.
