Recording Learning Procedures for 9A Unit 3 Writing Step Procedures Teachers’ Activities Students’ Activities Purposes 1 Lead-in Lead Ss to review the reading text on P35 about the six aspects of introducing one’s family life. Review the six aspects of introducing one’s family life. To activate Ss’ background knowledge and lead in the topic Introduce the writing task of this lesson. Know about the writing task. 2 Pre-Writing Introduce a Five-star writing process. Learn about the writing process. To be aware of the process and get prepared for the writing task 3 While-Writing 1. Key information Show a mind map about family life, ask Ss to think about their family life and fill in the mind map. (Set an example for Ss.)
