Methods The differences in the clinical characteristics and the treatment reaction were compared between KDHZ and NKDHZ by casecontrol study. Results No significant differences in prodromes, herpes area and neuralgia were seen between KDHZ and NKDHZ, but the differences in places where the herpes occurred except chest, back, waist and abdomen were significant between KDHZ and NKDHZ. The most impressive features in KDHZ were the time on which herpes began to occur and the degree of the postherpetic neuralgia. Herpes occurred earlier in KDHZ than in NKDHZ. Herpes which occurred after pain were obviously less in KDHZ than in NKDHZ. The degree of the postherpetic neuralgia in NKDHZ was evidently severer than that in KDHZ. Compared with that of the patients in NKDHZ, the herpes of the patients in KDHZ scabbed later. At last, the patients in NKDHZ had longer time in hospital and less postherpetic There exist significant differences in the clinical characteristics and the treatment reactio between KDHZ and NKDHZ. Key words： herpes zoster; postherpetic neuralgia; glucocorticoid 肾脏病并发带状疱疹临床上并不少见，我们回顾性分析了我院2000— 2006年6年间住院的肾脏病合并带状疱疹（kidney disease with herpes zoster，KDHZ）患者共28例并随机抽取同期资料完整的非肾脏病性带状疱疹（nonkidney with herpes zoster，NKDHZ）住院患者30例作对照，报告如下。 1 资料与方法 一般资料 我院6年间共收治KDHZ住院患者28例，男12例，女16例，年龄18～70岁，平均岁。其中肾移植术后11例、慢性肾功能不全8例、狼疮性肾炎5例、慢性肾小球肾炎4例（所有病例均有使用免疫抑制剂或糖皮质激素药物史，15例发病时正在使用）。随机抽取同期NKDHZ（对照组）30例，男14例，女16例，年龄18～76岁，平均52岁。两组均有疱疹伴疼痛，除KDHZ组有尿检异常和（或）肾功能不全外，性别比、年龄、吸烟史等均无显著差异（P） 方法 所有病例由专人逐一检索查阅，根据设计表格登记有效信息。我们根据疱疹分布是否过腋中线及分布
